The Movember Foundation raises our awareness around men's health issues, particularly prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health and suicide prevention. Men are encouraged to improve their awareness about the most serious health issues affecting them. 
Men and women are encouraged to organise fundraising events or sponsorship to complete sporting challenges Men who are planning to join in with Movember (Mo Bros) register with and start with a cleanly shaven face on November 1st, then grow a moustache for the remainder of the month.
The focus this year is to take control of your health and look after your health.

1: Check in regularly with friends and family.

2: Move, whether it is the gym workout, a jog at lunchtime, a bike ride to work, no move too
big or small.

3: Talk about the big stuff in life, it is OK to talk about breakups in relationships, financial troubles, becoming a father and recognise the impact of the big moments in life.

4:Knowledge is power, family history affects your risk of heart disease, cancer, and other illnesses.

5: If you notice something, do something. Go to the doctor and get a change to your body checked. Early detection is important in treating many big issues.

6: Learn more about your health, the big health issues are prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health issues.
