Dr Mark Kent

MBBS, DAME, AsMA, MRO, Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine

Dr Mark Kent is a Perth born and educated General Practitioner. He graduated from The University of Western Australia in 1986. After 5 years of hospital-based experience and further training, including Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Anaesthetics and Psychiatry, he entered General Practice in 1990 where he has remained, working full-time ever since. After initial Practice in Bayswater and Sorrento he settled at Perth Medical Centre in the Perth CBD for the next 17 years.In 2007 he moved into his current premises at CBD West Medical Centre and Corporate Health. This is a specially created environment, designed for the provision of top quality General Practice and Corporate Health. In addition to General Practice, his ongoing interests include Skin cancer surveillance and treatment, Travel Medicine, Corporate Medicine and Corporate Health provision, management of sports injuries, management of work related injuries, recreational and commercial diving medicine. He is an Aviation doctor and a CASA DAME and an examiner for Danish, Norwegian and OGUK maritime medicals. His personal passion is recreational diving, both within Australia and abroad.

Dr Lisa Surman

MBBS, Dip Obs RACOG, Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine, MRO

Dr Lisa Surman graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1985. She commenced general practice in the northern suburbs after gaining experience in various WA hospitals including Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, King Edward Maternity Hospital and delivering babies at Swan Districts Hospital. She has worked fulltime in the Perth CBD for the past 16 years after returning from spending 6 years working in Brunei where she gained experience in Travel and Tropical medicine and the needs of expatriate workers. Lisa enjoys all aspects of General Practice including shared antenatal care, menopause and women?s health and has a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She also has an interest in Skin cancer surveillance and treatment, Diving Medicine and is an examiner for both recreational and commercial diving medicals as well as Danish, Norwegian and OGUK Maritime medicals. Her time spent overseas led to an interest and experience in Travel Medicine and the management of expatriate workers.

Dr Mandy Croft


Dr Croft graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1990 and directly spent several years gaining various hospital based experience here in Perth. She then entered the General Practice training programme and completed her Fellowship in 1997. She has worked in the Northern suburbs as a Family GP since then. The variety of General Practice work has maintained her interest in a broad range of clinical areas however in recent times she has developed a keen interest in corporate and diving medicine. She performs recreational dive medicals in addition to Danish, Norwegian and OGUK Maritime medicals.  Dr Croft is a firm believer in preventative medicine and serves on the Perth North Metro Medicare local Committee for Illness Prevention.

Dr Elizabeth Kerr


Dr Elizabeth Kerr's father was a pastoralist near Meekatharra and she was born, raised and educated in Western Australia. After finishing her medical degree at the University of Western Australia, she worked for two years in the local teaching hospitals before spending the next four years working in England and travelling extensively. Dr Kerr returned to Western Australia to start a family, finishing the Family Medicine Programme and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology while working as a GP in various rural and city locations and for two years as a GP Obstetrician in Carnarvon. For the next ten years Dr Kerr continued in Shoalwater as a GP with a strong interest in Women's Health and an increasing interest in Sport's Medicine. She started regular sessions at Murdoch University Health Centre and Peel Hospital Emergency Department. Dr Kerr continues to thoroughly enjoy the variety and complexities of modern General Practice and finds CBD West Medical Centre a great practice. 


Dr Sally Partington

MB.CH.B FRACGP Mod BA MRCGP DCH DTM&H Grad Dip Women's Health 

Dr Sally Partington graduated in 1981 from Aberdeen University having done a degree in Microbiology first.  She lived and worked as a GP in the Sultanate of Oman for 7 years before coming to Perth 11 years ago. Dr Partington has worked as a GP in Aboriginal Heath and Sexual Health at Royal Perth Hospital. Sally has also worked in women's health at the Royal Flying Doctor Service.  She enjoys all of general practice but has particular interests in women's health and tropical medicine.


Dr Kelly Houwen


Dr Kelly Houwen is a locally trained General Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2011. She gathered experience in top WA hospitals including Fremantle Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital, before focusing on family medicine. Kelly has worked as a General Practitioner in Perth suburbs for several years. She is interested in many aspects of GP with particular interests in shared antenatal care, women's health, adolescent and youth health.
